A GAME tie in to a movie based on the game it’s tied into.
That’s a log on Ratchet and Clank’s self-referential fire.
After giving the trailer a whiz I was happy to see that the movie cut scenes are indistinguishable from gameplay.
Not that I’m naive enough to trust trailers, but Insomniac are pretty reliable in that respect.
It’s been a while since 2013’s Into the Nexus, probably a good thing as it seemed that a new entry was being released every other week. This time out has allowed a thirst to develop for an over the top and colourful shooty platformer.
The plot will go back to the original game’s origin story but with numerous perks and gimmicks such as the pixelizer; a gun that sends enemies deep into low-def.
Ratchet and Clank will land some time in Spring 2016.
